サッカーの魅力とは
女子CPサッカーが動き始めました！日本初の女子CPサッカー選手である浜田美弥妃選手、そして元女子サッカー日本代表（なでしこジャパン）の小林弥生さん、海堀あゆみさんが、サッカーについて語りました。進行は、国際CPサッカー連盟CPサッカー開発女性メンバーでもある神一世子。サッカーとの出会いや魅力を伺いました。
神: 日本CPサッカー協会では女性選手も強化していこうと思っているのですが、皆さんは、何がきっかけでサッカーを始められましたでしょうか？
Iyoko: JCPFA wants to make female football players stronger. Can you tell me why you started playing football ?
海堀: 私は、元々体を動かすのが好きだったんです。そして父もサッカーをやっていたので、小学校2年生 から始めました。
Ayumi: I always loved to move my body. My dad played football and I started when I was in the second year of elementary school.
小林: 私も似ています。二人の兄がサッカー をしていて、母と応援に行っているうちに、 私もボールを蹴りたいなと思ったんです。
Yayoi: My story is like Ayumi’s. My two brothers played football and my mum took me to watch their games. I really wanted to kick the ball like they did.
浜田: 私の場合は、小学生の時に男友達に誘われてサッカーを始めました。
Miyabi: At elementary school my boy friends asked me to play football with them.
神: 皆さん、最初は女子チームではなく、男の子と一緒にサッカーをしていたんですか?
Iyoko: Were all of you in a team with boys instead of girls?
海堀: サッカーを始めたとき、女子サッカーのチームがあることを知らなかったので、男の子と混じって サッカーをすることに抵抗はありませんでしたよ。
Ayumi: When I started to play football, I was not aware of any girls team. So it wasn’t strange to play in a boys team.
小林: 私の場合は、小学校3年生から女子チームがあったのですが、サッカーを始めた当初は男の子と一 緒のチームに所属していました。
Yayoi: I joined a girls team in the 3rd grade of elementary school but until that time I played in a boys team.
浜田: 私も男の子のチームにいたのですが、学年が上がるに連れてついて行くのが段々大変になって行ったのですが、そんな経験はありませんでしたか?
Miyabi: I also was in a boys team. Over the years I started feeling it was getting harder to keep up with them. Do you have the same experience?
小林: 逆に私は、男の子に負けたくない!という気持ちで練習をしていましたよ(笑)!
Yayoi: On the contrary, I did not want to lose to the boys. That was my motivation during practice!
神: 浜田さんの場合、障がいのハンデはサッカーに影響しましたか?
Iyoko: Miyabi, do you think your handicap influenced your play?
浜田: 私の障がいは、3歳の時、両親が私が走れないことを不思議に思い、調べてわかったんです。右半身 の障がいはありましたが、サッカーは大好きだったので小学生の時は、特にハンデも感じないでクラブチームに所属していました。
Miyabi: My parents found out about my hancicap when I was three, I could not run and my parents were puzzled by that. After examinition it turned out my right leg is handicapped. In elementary school I loved football and I never felt troubled by my handicap.
神: CPサッカーと出会ったきっかけは何だったのですか?
Iyoko: When did you first come into contact with CP football?
浜田: 学年が上がるに連れて、男の子についていけなくなったり、自分の限界も感じてきたんです。そんな 時、自分と同じ障がいを持つ人が集まったサッカーチームがあることを知り、そこであれば、自分のサッカー技術をもっと高められるのでは?と思い、所属することにしました
Miyabi: As I got older, it became more and more difficult to keep up with the boys. I started to feel my limitations. Then I found out about this football club for kids with the same handicap as me. I thought that would be the right place for me to improve my football skills and I joined the club.
神: 皆さん、環境は違っても、サッカーへ対する情熱がたくさんありそうですが、サッカーの魅力ってどん なところですか?
Iyoko: All of you play under different circumstances but you all just love football. What do you think is the best thing about football?
海堀: そうですね。サッカーは、みんなで一つ の目標を目指すことができるし、プレイする人 はもちろん、観る人も楽しめるスポーツだと思うんです。
Ayumi: I think it’s good to have the same goal to go for. Both for people who play football as for people who love to watch.
小林: 私もそう思います!仲間と練習をして試合で勝てた時は、一緒に心から喜びあえますよね!
Yayoi: I agree! When you train with your teammates and win a match, you can share the joy and happiness.
浜田: はい、ドリブルやシュートを仲間とこなして、ゴールまでたどり着く過程も楽しくて、そうやってゴー ルを決めた時、サッカーをやっていて良かったなって思います。
Miyabi: Indeed, I’m always glad to be doing football when you dribble and shoot together, go for the goal together and score.
神: CPサッカーは、残念なことに2020年のパラリンピック種目から外れてしまいましたが、浜田さんのこれからの夢は何ですか?
Iyoko: Unfortunately CP football is not a Paralympic sports at Tokyo 2020. What is your dream, Miyabi?
浜田: CPサッカーのルールが改定されて、女性も代表メンバーになれるようになったので、次の国際大会での代表選手になれるよう頑張りたいと思っています!そして一緒に戦える女性選手も増やして行きたいな と思います。
Miyabi: They have changed the rules for CP football and allowed girls to be selected for the national team. I want to be on the national team for the next international tournament. It would be great if more female come to play with me!
海堀: なでしこジャパンも最初は、認知度も低かったけれど、2011年のFIFA女子ワールドカップ優勝を機に応援してくれる人が増えました。女子サッカーという存在すら知られていなかった時代もあったので、やはりCPサッカーも、多くの人に知ってもらえるといいですよね。
Ayumi: Not many people knew about Nadeshiko Japan but when we won 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup we gained a lot of support. There was a time that people did not even know something like female football existed. I think it's important to let people know about CP football as well.
浜田: はい、CPサッカー自体、まだまだ認知度も低いので、一人でも多くの人にこんなチームがあるんだ よ、と広められればと思っています。
Miyabi: Indeed, CP football is not well known. I would like to let as many people as possible know the sports.
海堀: そのためには、私たちがサッカーの素晴らしさ、女性もサッカーを楽しめることを伝えていかなくてはいけないですね。
Ayumi: To do so we need to show the beauty of football and that it is a great sports for female to enjoy.
小林: そう思います。私たちのように元なでしこの選手も、いろいろな場へでて行き、サッカーを知らない人とも触れ合って行きながら、憧れの存在にならなくてはいけないなと感じます。
Yayoi: That’s true. I think we as former players of the national team need to go out to different places and let people know about girl football, show them what a great sport it is.
神: 最後に、これからCPサッカーを始めてみたいと考えている女性に一言いただけますか?
Iyoko: Do you have a message for female who want to start CP football?
海堀: サッカーはボール一つあれば、誰でも楽しめるスポーツです。ボールがあれば、言葉が通じなくても 楽しめるので、ぜひチャレンジしてみてください!
Ayumi: Football is a sports anybody can enjoy, just by playing with one ball. As long as you have a ball, you can play and communicate without words. Give it a try!
小林: どうしようか迷ったら、まずは一歩踏み出してみてください!最初の一歩が大切だと思うので、悩んでいないでまずは体験してみてください。きっと楽しいと思えるはずです。
Yayoi: If you are trying to find something to do, just go an give it a try! The first step is always the most important one. Don’t worry, try it, experience it and you will see it brings you joy!
浜田: 女性であっても、障がいがあっても、 CPサッカーは楽しめるスポーツです。ぜひ 私たちと一緒に世界を目指しましょう!
Miyabi: Even when you’re a girl, even when you have a handicap, CP football is fun! Come and join us, together we’ll take on the world!
